Cho Oyu Expedition is the easiest of the eight-thousand-meter peaks in the world. So this peak has a more successful expedition, unlike other attempts. Cho Oyu lies 20 km west of mt. Everest at the border between Nepal and China. This peak is also known as "the Turquoise Goddess".In 1954, Cho Oyu first reached the summit by H.Tichy, S.jocher & Pasang Dawa Sherpa without using the fixed ropes & Oxygen. Asian Expedition Pvt.Ltd offers Cho Oyu  Expedition and arranges all the logistics that our clients need for the expedition.

Spring 2025 Cho - Oyu Expedition Itinerary

08 April/Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel (1335M/4429ft)

09 April /Day 02: Rest and preparation day for assignment & briefing before departure from Kathmandu.

10 April /Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Gongkar Airport (3650m/11975ft) Lhasa.Overnight at Hotel

11 April /Day 04: Sightseeing around Lhasa with Tibetian English guide, Overnight at Hotel

12 April /Day 05:Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse (3,950m/12957ft, 05-06hrs) overnight in hotel.

13 April /Day 06: Drive from Gyantse to Shigatse (Xigatse) in an altitude of (3,950m/12957ft, 4hrs) Overnight at Hotel.

14 April /Day 07: Drive from Shigatse to Tingri (4,350m/14269ft, 05hrs) Overnight at Hotel.

15 April /Day 08:Rest day at Tingri for acclimatization.The climbing Sirdar will take you up to a (5000m/16404ft) hill for acclimatization after breakfast.

16 April /Day 09: After breakfast drive from Tingri to the Chinese base camp (4800m/15750ft.) which is about two hour drive.

17 April /Day 10: Rest and acclimatization at Chinese base camp (4800m/15750ft). To prepare and arrange yaks to go to advanced base camp via middle camp.

18 April /Day 11: Trek from Chinese Base Camp to Middle Camp (5300m/17388ft.) along the 4x4 track

19 April /Day 12: Trek from Middle Camp to the ABC (5700m/18700ft) of Cho Oyu

20 April -16May/Day13-39:Climbing Period –Summit Cho-Oyu (8201m/26906ft)

17 May/Day 40:Dismantling ABC;trek to middle camp; drive to Tingri (4,348m/14,268 ft)-takes about 04 hours trekking and 06 hours driving; overnight in hotel

18 May/Day 41:Drive from Tingri to Shigatse (Xigatse) Overnight at hotel.

19 May/Day 42: Early in the morning drive from Sigatse to Lhasa, overnight at hotel

20 May/Day 43: Fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

21 May/Day 44: Free day in Kathmandu and Nepalese cultural program with farewell dinner in the evening.

22 May/Day 45: Transfer to airport for final departure

• 6 Nights hotel in Kathmandu with bed & breakfast 3/4 star tourist hotel
• Expert professional Nepalese expedition crews like Cook, Kitchen boy, ABC guide & mountaineering gears till to the ABC Dining tent, Table, Chairs, toilet tent & Kitchen tent are provided; and our staff get all expedition facilities from our office itself.
• Tibet visa & Travel Permit for the expedition staff
